My family's summer trip that I'll somehow survive

My family normally takes 2 weeks every summer, generally in August, to travel to Vermont; at least that's how it used to go, so it was usually 11 hours of being stuck in a car I've recently learned that the 11-hour trips were strictly due to my parents leaving often later than they intended to these days with my older siblings off with their own lives I am unofficially designated the person they take on vacation I honestly thought I'd have more of a life of my own and by that I mean not spending so much time with my folks.
